Yes, a MacBook is technically a notebook like any other, sometimes the competition is even more powerful and cheaper, but if you love Mac Laptops, what else can you do other than buying one.

- The side speakers not only look beautiful, they also sound great too for a notebook
- The large glass trackpad button without disturbing a real mouse replacement, no comparison to conventional notebooks
- A battery indicator, which displays the charging status of the battery even when machine is turned off
Battery life, real 7 hours for my usual applications: writing, Internet and Office.
The bad news for me is the fan. At first I was very excited, but the excitement is gone after a month. One of the two fan started to rattle. Only just a little bit at first, then it quickly became so extreme that i could bare using it anymore. I had to get it fixed.
I went to an Apple store and have claimed the fan – this was also replaced without hesitation.However, that began just four weeks later the new fan to rattle and I can make myself again on the way to the Apple Store. Here is obviously a manufacturing fault, and I have created the fear of the dark and the next fan does not help. But i know this issue is like 1 in a 100 thing. There is a great chance that you won’t have to deal with this like me. So, good luck to you all.
